چکیده
Currently, Pt-M bimetallic alloy nanoparticles like PtMo, PtRu, PtW and PtNi have shown promise for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) applications, due to their high electrocatalytic activity and CO tolerance on pristine carbon supports. Meanwhile, our previous research has indicated that Pt nanoparticles are significantly stabilized on boron-doped carbon supports. In this work, we use computational tools to design new catalysts, which benefit from both good stability and CO tolerance, in order to improve the performance of fuel cell electrodes.

متن کاملRecommendations for a Graduate Seminar in Usable Security
In the spring of 2006, I taught a graduate student research seminar on usable security at Brigham Young University (BYU). It was likely one of the first graduate seminars devoted exclusively to the nascent field of usable security. The course consisted primarily of readings from Security and Usability, a collection of papers in the field that had recently been edited by Cranor and Garfinkel [2]...
متن کاملRecent Advances in the Concept of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)
In this paper, some of the recent advances in the concept of FPGA is presented, which is a presentation made as a part of the UG seminar work. Designing hardware with Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) avoids the higher non-recurring engineering costs and longer development times of Mask-Programmed Gate Array (MPGA) solutions. These two key advantages, shorter design cycles and lower develo...
